Kick-Off Open House Recap

Over 100 citizens, city staff, and elected officials attended the kick-off open house for the Broken Arrow Next Comprehensive Plan on Tuesday, March 27th. Open house attendees visited and provided input at nine stations that covered topics such as mobility, infrastructure, parks and recreation, housing, economic development, downtown, and quality of life. City Manager Michael Spurgeon kicked off the presentation portion of the meeting and the consultant team provided a brief overview of the comprehensive plan process. Jason Claunch of Catalyst Commercial gave a keynote presentation about the existing market conditions in Broken Arrow and discussed strategies that can make the community more competitive.
